Self Guided Walking Tour

We’re proud to invite history buffs, curious tourists, proud locals, and anyone who appreciates fine craftsman ship and strong women to explore the 1916 Carnegie library building that serves as home to the Pendleton Center for the Arts. While fulfilling our mission of providing opportunities for creative expression and community connection, we never forget the deep roots this building has in the community and the strong women who shaped the work here.

We hope you’ll come in and take the tour in person, but if you can’t, we invite you to enjoy a selection of just some of the interpretive information below.
