What got you interested in joining Team PCA?
I was instantly drawn to the Art center because of the variety of Art experiences that were offered. I believe that accessibility and inclusion to art and creative expression are keys to a healthy community and having recently moved to the area I am looking forward to building new connections and supporting the work done at the PCA.
What do you bring to the team?
Having had the opportunity to work with incredible artists in an academic setting, I hope to translate some of the wisdom and skills I have gained and encourage others to try new things and expand their experiences of art. I hope to bring my passion for creative solutions and facilitating learning experiences to my position as I learn and grow as an artist and educator.
Other fun facts?
I grew up in Red Oak Texas and when I was 21 I joined Americorps NCCC where I met my now husband, Caleb Wilmer. I received an art degree from Florida State University in 2024 and have experience in Museum and Art Education at different locations throughout the country.

What got you interested in joining Team PCA?
I was interested in working at PCA because I wanted to be a part of a team whose mission is to bring creative opportunities to rural communities, and since I am an artist and come from a rural community, I know the importance of creative access for all. When the position for Program Assistant opened, I knew it was a chance to hone both my skills as a professional but also work to connect further with the creative communities in northeast Oregon.
What do you bring to the team?
I hope to bring my skillsets in gallery exhibition, arts writing, and community involvement to the team, but also strive to share the outcomes of these skills with patrons, students, families, and everyone else who walks through PCA’s doors.
Other fun facts?
I’m from Burns, Oregon, and graduated from Eastern Oregon University in the spring, with two degrees in Art and English/Writing. While at EOU, I worked as the Student Director for Nightingale Gallery, and found my love for gallery work and writing during my time at Nightingale. I moved to Pendleton soon after graduation and applied for the Program Assistant position at Pendleton Center for the Arts. I am so excited to continue in this line of work and grow the creative expression and arts programs in Pendleton, and across northeast Oregon.
