TEENS AND ADULTS
FIRST DRAFT WRITERS’ SERIES – each Third Thursday of the month 7:00 PM. Listen to Northwest authors of note read from new work. Check out the schedule HERE.
9:30 AM –FREE for All, a 45 minute art class for kids under 12 and families. Just show up (bottom door, down the ramp)
1100 AM –Hip & Handmade, a 60 minute art class for adults. Just show up (bottom door, down the ramp)
MONDAYS, January 13-Feb. 10 – MONDAY ART STUDIO – a FREE drop-in class with Kate Peck 4:00 – 5:30 PM
Inspire your kids to explore art independently through open-ended drawing, painting, and collage or try out a new technique by working along with the group on a facilitated project (we’ll have a fun optional project going on each time). Kids are welcome to drop in for 15 minutes or stay for the full session if they would like. Parents can participate too! (Children 8 and under must have a parent present)
FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH – 1:00 – 3:00 PM – Spin In. Bring something to knit, spin, draw with, whatever, or just watch. You can pop in and just take a peek too.
TEENS & ADULTS
FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH – Jam Night, Sponsored by the Pendleton Music Company, 7:00 – 8:30 PM February 6, March 5. A casual and fun get together for musicians of all experience levels. Blues, rock, country, pop, and more. Experiment with a variety of music styles and a variety of instruments; guitars, mandolin, bongos… bring what you have.
OLDER TEENS AND ADULTS
SECOND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH – MODERN BOARD GAME NIGHT with Karl Davis – 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Euro-style games involve strategy and focus less on luck and all players stay in the game until it’s over. Beginners on up are welcome.
EVERY TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY – 3:30-5:00 PM – Art Rocks Teens class series, everything from guitar, clay, jewelry and more. Check out the Schedule HERE.
MONDAYS – January 13 – February 10 YOUTH GUITAR with David Orr, 4:00 – 5:00 PM
Students will learn basic major and minor chords, strumming styles and techniques, and will be able to play one song by the end of the course. We have loaner guitars too.
WEDNESDAYS January 8 – January 29 BEING PRESENT IS A PRESENT with Kate Brizendine 11:15 AM – Noon
Are you a stay at home parent in need of an outing with your littles? In this class, we’ll explore the power behind positivity, staying present, and being mindful. This is a FREE class – just show up.
WEDNESDAY, February 19 DIY DEODERANT with Erica Edwards, 6:15 – 7:30 PM
In this (free!) Happy Hour course, we’ll learn how to make homemade deodorant, using all-natural ingredients. We’ll supply the instructions and everything you’ll need for our deodorant endeavors. Bring yourself and a friend and come ready for fun! Reserve a FREE seat HERE.

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 15 – NEEDLE-FELTING with Chantell Reid
We’ll learn the basics of this stress relieving art and give you the tools and resources you’ll need for personal projects of your own. Using all-natural wool fibers, you’ll create custom pieces perfect for gifts and keepsakes. Please register for this class HERE so we can prepare all supplies needed!

Do you or someone you know have an artistic super skill? Have you ever considered sharing your expertise, and becoming an instructor in your art? That sounds scary, we know. BUT, we want to help you gain the confidence to make it happen. Join us for light refreshments and come ready to mingle with staff and some of our current instructors who can share their experiences.
