Whether you are new to watercolor painting or not, painting portraits is something that a lot of people either avoid or are intimidated by. This workshop is designed to help you get started with painting portraits. Rae will provide the basics of how to sketch a face and how to create skin tones in watercolor painting. And what better portrait to finish the workshop with than your own? Bring a picture of yourself, whether it’s current or not. Kits will include watercolor and sketch papers, pencils, and professional-grade paints that you get to keep. Brushes will be available for use while at PCA and to borrow for work at home between sessions.
