Previous experience with quilting isn’t necessary; what students DO need is an interest in creating something special. In this case, students will build colorful, exciting and unique log cabins! This is a no rules approach to putting your fabric scraps to work to create something beautiful. Bring a bag of leftover scraps from other projects and you’ll learn how to make blocks that will one day make a warm and wonderful quilt. This will be a fun day of sewing- you will continue at home until you have made enough blocks to create the size quilt you desire. Please bring your sewing machine. Don’t have one? Let our staff know and we’ll get you squared away. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
