Photographers from across northeast Oregon and southeast Washington are reminded to submit work for this year’s Open Regional Exhibit at the Pendleton Center for the Arts. Date for drop-off of artwork is Saturday, March 7, 2026 from noon to 4:00 PM. The exhibit opens in the East Oregonian Gallery on Friday, March 12th with a Judge’s Talk and Award Ceremony at 5:00 PM followed by a reception. Both events are free and open to the public.

This year marks the 54th anniversary of the event, which brings beginning, emerging and established artists together to share their best work. Adults 18 and over may enter up to two photographs and a special teen category is available for artists 13-17 years old. Even numbered years, like this one, feature photography only. During odd years we invite any medium except photography.

While the exhibit is not juried, there are some limitations on size and weight which are outlined in the ENTRY FORM

An invited judge will award over $1000 in cash prizes in the adult and teen categories. Visitors to the gallery also have an opportunity to vote for their favorite work and the winner will be awarded the $200 Jacqueline Brown People’s Choice Award, made possible through the generosity of Katherine Brown and Andrew Picken.

The exhibit will be on view through April 24. Admission to the gallery is always free. More information is available by calling 541-278-9201
